Magnolia Beach is one of Calhoun County's most popular recreational areas. It is a small community located a short drive from Port Lavaca, and is a popular spot for fishing, swimming and birdwatching. At the Magnolia Beach Crabbing Bridge area, you can go crabbing, fishing, bait catching and have beach access.
Tent camping is available at the Cabanas with other amenities like restrooms and outdoor showers.
Also in the Magnolia area is the Miller Beach Park, along with Magnolia Beach/Indianola Paddling and Birding Trail.
